Rei/Rohini in Napa Valley. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but this just seems like a wonderful combination. You capture the sunny-glitzy California feel so well.
"Why couldn't he have eloped like the rest of his middle aged corporate friends taking on trophy wives?" LOL I really like Rei's father re-marrying to someone he actually seems to care for the second time around (this almost never happens and Staci is really well done), and of course poor Rohini reacting to that. And eating peanut M&Ms! Fantastic!!
All the surprises!! I'm so happy to see Nick Monroe showing up, although I expected Jadeite at first. Dare I hope Monroe is a shoutout to Grimm? HIS HANDS ARE STAINED WITH MOTOR OIL! Speaking of all the banging that's supposed to happen in the epilogues, I bet because his hands are always dirty Makoto feeds him with her own fingers and THIS LEADS TO THINGS. Yes?? Yes??
I looked up the car. It is a pretty car, yes, and you have pretty Justin driving up to pick up pretty and pissed Rohini. MWAHAHAHA.
Favorite part, hands down: Justin has different types of grins and Rohini knows what they are.
I'm kind of sad they had a silly misunderstanding after a 6 year relationship, but yay for happy endings!!:)
