This is a tie between Diamond and Seiya... and oh how I loathe them both. I think my pure, unbridled hatred for them stems from the fact that people actually fucking SHIP USAGI WITH THEM!
I'm sorry no. JUST NO! NOPE! NOT GONNA HAPPEN.... you know why? BECAUSE ONE IS A KIDNAPPER AND WOULDBE RAPIST, AND THE OTHER IS A MANIPULATIVE DOUCHE WHO CAN'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!
Granted I use Diamond in fic, but only when I want a creepy, smarmy fuckwit who eventually will get what's coming to him... one way or another. I've only ever written Seiya once and in that fic Mamoru lost his cool and punched Seiya because Seiya deserves it. I don't care if you want the whole "upset over missing princess... misplaced affection" YADDA BULLSHIT! Seiya tried to use Usagi, and when Usagi told Seiya time and time again "no I have a boyfriend" Seiya turns it into the poor me "but am I not good enough?" Manipulation crap that abusers use!
How 'bout you actually look at Usagi for second you selfish bastard and realize that she IS FUCKING BROKEN! AND YOU JUST MADE IT TEN TIMES WORSE AND NOW YOU WANT TO DISCUSS HOW YOU'RE HURT? No. Go away. No one likes you.

How do I answer this? OMG HOW!? DO THE SHITENNOU COUNT AS VILLAINS? SHOULD I SAY THEM? DO I PICK MY FAVORITE SHITENNOU? WHAT DO!?
Well, obviously I have made love for the Shitennou, but if I can't pick them or one of them because they didn't start off bad and didn't end up bad (MANGA ROCKS! ADVISERS TO MAMORU GOOD GUYS!) I will pick Beryl. I think she's an interesting character, and there's so much you don't know about her -- about the SilMil -- so you can always ponder the hows and whys.
Plus she's a sexy redhead in a purple dress.
Day 18: Something from the manga that you wish was in the anime?
SHITENNOU ROCKS!
Or the fact that Mamoru wasn't quite as stupid as they made him in the anime. Like, you know, sending yourself dreams so you break up with the woman you love and all that jazz. >.>

Uh... kinda? I've seen a fair amount of the live action, some of it is okay, but mostly not my bag. I've seen a few songs from Sera Myu. The only thing I really know from the musicals is Yuu... and really that's all I need. :D

Day 10: Anime vs. manga?
Okay so I have mixed feelings about this. I mean I got into Sailor Moon back in the before time in the long, long ago. So before there was tumblr or any of the bajillionty sites that you can find manga on. So getting the original manga would've been near impossible for me, if I had even know WHAT THE FUCK IT WAS!
So I mean, the anime is what introduced to me to Sailor Moon.... not just the anime but the flipping DiC dub. Which at the time I was young and stupid and didn't know better so it was FREAKING AWESOME OKAY!? GIRL POWER YEAH!
Looking at the dub now makes me cringe in so many ways. But without the anime I wouldn't know Sailor Moon, unless I was maybe just now being introduced to it through all the art I see on tumblr (which would be so weird).
The manga I read later, and only in weird scans here and there with questionable translations and out of order. It's not just now that I'm actually reading the manga all in order online. And it's amazing (of course).
So while I want to say the manga is better (because it is) I wouldn't be the looney person I am if not for the anime and I hold a certain affection for it.

I'm really boring, I like the fuku from season one. They just kept getting wackier and wackier as time went on... especially Sailor Moon's. I like the simplicity of the original.

Jan. 9th, 2013 07:10 pmSO I LOVE ASK MEMES AND 30 DAY CHALLENGES, RIGHT!? Y'all know this. I've not done one in a long time and I just found one and I'mma do and y'all should do it too because... SAILOR MOON!!!!
Day 1: Favorite Inner Senshi and why?
Well. When I first started watching the anime dub I was like 13 or so and I liked Sailor Moon. I could understood Serena. :P Then I started taking a liking to Lita because she had kickass attacks imo (though I really did like them all). However later on I learned more about the manga and Rei happened.
I love Manga!Rei because she is so mature and serene and bamfy and pretty. I also find the whole priestess aspect fascinating, so it was cool to see. I think overall Manga!Rei has a lot of qualities I admire or wish I had, so I just want to idolize her. Also she wears fuck me shoes -- no tall boots, ankles boots, no straps or ties, just straight up fuck me shoes. So yeah, Sailor Mars all the way beotches!
(Also superficially if you're going by The Picture she ends up with the Shitennou I like best ... so there's that, too)
